The Sinner Judges

In 2009 Armenia and Turkey signed protocols to normalize the relationship between two countries. Turkey also announced about his new political route, called "0 problems with neighbors." Though, after several months Armenia announced that the result of this political route was "0 neighbors with a lot of problems."
Today the Turkish minister of foreign affairs Ahmet Davutoglu said: "Failure to settle relations with Syria, Israel and Armenia is agreed with aggressive and uncompromising stance of these countries"
This is already annoying. The country that organized the first genocide of the 20th century, announces that the people that suffered from its violence, are aggressive.
And what should I answer to this puppet, as an Armenian. Mr. Ahmet you can see aggressiveness in all your neighbors' behavior, except your own aggressiveness which is obvious in all layers of your government. And what else did you see in our behavior in 1915, when your "Young Turks" killed 1,500,000 innocent Armenians in the most cruel way.
The whole world was talking about your racism, but of course you didn't hear anything.
By your behavior you show that present-day Turkey doesn't differ much from Turkey of 1900s, you just painted it in another color, but the content is the same.
If today you don't have enough courage  to recognize the crime you made, we, Armenians of all over the world, will make you do it, because you will never be able to "paint" the country which has been painted by blood over 97 years. And always know Mr. Ahmet that during our 4000 years history all  our enemy states just disappeared and become just a part of our history textbook. And this is because history is the strongest judge.

(CONFIDENTIAL TELEGRAM, AMBASSADOR MORGENTHAU TO SECRETARY OF STATE

Constantinople, 16 July 1915

"Deportation of and excesses against peaceful Armenians is increasing and from harrowing reports of eye witnesses it appears that a campaign of race extermination is in progress under a pretext of reprisal against rebellion. Protests as well as threats are unavailing and probably incite the Ottoman government to more drastic measures as they are determined to disclaim responsibility for their absolute disregard of Capitulations and I believe nothing short of actual force which obviously United States are not in a position to exert would adequately meet the situation. Suggest you inform belligerent nations and mission boards of this."

Some Mistakes about Armenia by The Wall Street Journal

Never knew that Vartan Mamikonian was an Armenian king, and that he made Christianity our official religion. The Wall Street Journal surprised me; I have never expected to find mistakes in such a newspaper. However, thank you for the article.

Angela Merkel is Opening the Exhibition Dedicated to Armenian Genocide

The famous German newspaper "Bild" writes that today is opening an exhibition in Berlin, where will be presented some facts about Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire from 1915 to 1923. The exhibition will open Angel Merkel. An invitation has been sent to Turkish ambassador in Germany. No one is sure about his presence yet, but I hope he will participate in it, and learn the black part of his history.

5 Absurd Scientific Myths People Believe

There have always been several statements we know, which seem to be stupid, but as they say that those statements are proved scientifically, we all believe that they are true. But today I read an article that denies those statements. That is kind of weird, but it is true.
Here is the first statement: "Fingernails and hair continue to grow after death." I remember how one of my teachers at school was telling about it and was saying that it is reality. I was thinking: "Oh wow, so people don't die completely." Though, after reading this article, I feel kind of stupid.
Here is another statement, that I never knew about: "Men think about sex every ten seconds." I could never think that the girls have such an opinion about us, we are not frenetic.
"The coriolis effect determines the way the water flows down drains." Once one of my classmates at high school asked about it to the teacher of physics, and he described the fact just the way the statement stands.
"The moon has a dark side that never sees sunlight." To be fair I have never heard about this one, but probably there are some people that thought in this way.
And finally the most widespread statement: "We only use 10% of our brains." Haha, I have always thought that it is stupid. If we were using only 10% of our brain, we all would have been paralyzed. For every function we use a certain part of our brain. And the statement, that we use only 10% of our brain is nonsense, if it is so, were is the other 90% of i?. Or if we don't use the other 90% why don't those cells die.
Take it easy.

Why Is Putin Crying?

Yesterday all famous news portals were telling about how Vladimir Putin was crying, after being elected as the  President of Russian. In this video you can easily see the tears on Putin's eyes. The news portals are writing that the tears were, because he was very happy, some of them write that it was a strategy.
Though, the press secretary of Putin told that Putin wasn't crying, and the tears were because of the wind.
I will let everyone decide for himself the reason of Putin's tears. However, I congratulate him, and I think that comparing to the other candidates, he is the only one, who can  lead the biggest country in the world.

Forbes: Most Powerful People

The world known journal Forbes introduces the list of the most powerful people of the world. The top places of this list are very competitive. This year the top three most powerful people are:

  1. Barack Obama, President of the USA,
  2. Vladimir Putin, Prime-minister of Russia,
  3. Hu Jintao, President of People's Republic of China,
The list is made, based on the amount of the people, over whom they have power, the financial resources controlled by them, the number of spheres, on which they have power, and the most important index is how actively they used their power.
As we all saw in summer of 2011, during the technical default in the USA, China was willing to help, but had ambitions to make its currency Yuan N1 international currency in the world. Russian prime-minister Vladimir Putin has also taken very active role in international arena.  So Barack Obama has really strong competitors. As we can see Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany, is the most powerful woman in the world.
But in general, if we take a look at the list, we can see that the most powerful people of the word are men. I think that women should take more active role in political and social arenas, and not to say that they don't have the same opportunities as men. Because Angela Merkel and Hillary Clinton are bright examples of those opportunities.

Kung Fu MISHA (миша)

If some of the readers are confused about the title, let me say that "misha" is a Russia word and means "bear."  The video shows that Kung Fu Panda has a competitor, and it is a great reason for a new part of the film. I think that Russian Misha and Kung Fu Panda could be good friends, and be characters of a new, funny film.
The only problem is the title of the film. You are welcome to suggest some good titles for the film.

Angela Merkel. The Result of Drinking During the Work

It's a very hard job to serve beer, especially it is harder to serve six glasses of beer. But the hardest part of this job is to serve six glasses of beer, when your customer is the most influential woman in the world, German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
A German waiter, who was serving beer to Angela Merkel during an event, proves my words. The video shows how the waiter showered Angela Merkel with five glasses of fresh and cold beer. Angela Merkel got shocked, but didn't say anything.
Yes, being the leader of one of the most influential countries in the world is not an easy task: they give you one glass of beer and drop five of them on you.
I think that such people shouldn't drink publicly at all.

Forbes: The Richest Countries of the World

The popular journal Forbes published the list of the richest countries of the world. The evaluation is done based on GDP per capita. GDP per capita is calculated by dividing GDP into the population of a country.
According to Forbes, the richest country of the world is Qatar, where the GDP per capita is $88,000. Qatar is a rich oil country in Middle East. According to the 2010 census in Qatar, the population there is 1,853,563. The main reason that Qatar is listed as the richest country of the world is the low population. In 2011 the GDP in Qatar was $194,270 billion. Just for comparison, the GDP of the USA for the same year was $15,065 trillion. Though, the USA is only the seventh richest country.
The second richest country, according to Forbes, is Luxemburg, with $81,000 GDP per capita. And the third one is Singapore.
If you find your country in this list, ask yourself, if you really live in the richest country of the world, or it is just an economic trick.

Barack Obama is Singing, but Anyway
Putin was the First One
When two years ago Russian Prime-minister Vladimir Putin singed American popular song "Blueberry Hill", the whole world was waiting to Obama's answer. Obama answered only today, but not with a Russian song. Hahaha, every time I am getting more and more sure that presidents cannot sing at all.
Which University to Choose, to Become a Millionaire
"The Telegraph" published the list of top universities, producing millionaires. The first one is University of London, the second one is university of Oxford, The third one is University of Cambridge.
Of course the education is very important for becoming a successful professional. But the key point of the success of the graduates of those universities is the relations they make during their school years. Business is all about relationships. So if you have plans to become a millionaire apply for those universities or transfer your credits. And take it easy.

Oxford Graduates Cannot Find a Job

That's awful: Oxford graduates cannot find a job. According to the research the university did, 200 graduates out of 3500 are working in non-graduate occupations such as waiters and clerks. If Oxford graduates are working as waiters, I cannot imagine what the graduates of other universities do. I would like to remind that according to the 2011-2012 World University Rankings University of Oxford is the 5th best university in the world. The article makes think about our future.

Gauck gets Merkel’s backing for president | euronews, world news

The world politics is so strange. How can a Protestant pastor become Germany's ceremonial president?
What makes a pastor go to politics. Or how can people agree with that. I think it is a nonsense. Of course the functions of president in Germany is very limited, but anyway, religion and politics are incompatible.

200-year-old Cognac (Brandy) on SALE.
If I had enough money, I would have definitely bought it. Because 200-year-old cognac is not an alcohol any more, it is an art. And don't think that I'm an alcoholic. Even if I would have bought it, that would have been impossible to drink it. Only holding in hands and smelling this brandy, worth those money.

In every conflict there is always a 3rd side that gets benefits. A question arises: Who needs the conflict? And do the benefits from the conflict worth a war. I'm pretty sure, no. Because human life is the most valuable thing in the world, and no money can replace it.

Iran stops oil export to Britain and France - Tert.am - News | Armenia | Russia | CIS | World

Iran stops oil export to Britain and France
I don't know what it means, but I'm sure that these issues with Iran won't lead to something good. No one wants a new war. That's why I think that everyone should sit around a table and come to an agreement. Israel and Iran should start being respectful to each other, and should lead their nations to peace, not to a war.

Joe Dassin-nostalgia

Joe Dassin - an American singer, who was known as one of the best French singers in the world. He was born in New York City. Not everyone knew that he was American. But everyone loved his songs.
Even Soviet Union spacemen were listening to his songs, while being in the space.

  To You Joe Dassin

To you
To the way that you're beautiful
To the way that you are to me
To your slightly artificial, tender words
Sometimes
To you
To the little girl that you used to be
To this same girl that you often still are
To your past, to your secrets
To your old Prince Charmings

To life, to love
To our nights, to our days
To the endless return of luck
To the child that will come
That will look like us
That will be you and me at the same time

To me
To the madness of which you are the reason
To my fits of anger with no reason
To my silences and to my betrayals
Sometimes
To me
To the time I spent searching for you
To the qualities that you make fun of
To the faults that I've hidden from you
To my ideas of travelling

To life, to love
To our nights, to our days
To the endless return of luck
To the child that will come
That will look like us
That will be me and you at the same time

To us
To the memorys that we're going to make
To the future at above all, to the present
To the health of this old land
That we couldn't care less about
To us
To our hopes and to our illusions
To our next first meeting
To the health of the millions in love
That are just like us

To you
To the way that you're beautiful
To the way that you are to me
To your slightly artificial, tender words
Sometimes
To you
To the little girl that you used to be
To this same girl that you often still are
To your past, to your secrets

To your old Prince Charmings

Fear the Okra!
Nice song. I don't know why, but it reminds me the Beatles. Helps to relax.

Starting my blog

Thousands of people every day start their own blog to share their experience, ideas, and so on. Today I had a little free time, and decided to join those people and create my own blog. Currently I'm an exchange student in the USA and I'm pursuing a business degree. I'm studying in Delta State University, Cleveland, MS. Originally I'm an Armenian.  Before I was studying in Armenian State University of Economics(Sounds majestic, doesn't it?).
I would like to mention that my blog is NOT going to be about my everyday life: how I walk up, or why there was no hot water today in the dorm and so on.
In my blog I'll discuss issues, concerning to student, and not only, I'll also discuss world political, business news and a lot of other issues that will seem unusual to me. I will do my best to make my blog an interesting place for discussions, for new acquaintances, and a place where I would like to spend my free time.
Hope we all will have fun.
